Thank you for allowing me to have my first Mother’s Day, my dearest Eli.

I’m never one to make good decisions, but you are the best decision I’ve ever made. I wouldn’t trade you for anything else in this world. Thank you for being such a happy and cheerful child.

It hasn’t been easy, especially when I’m so exhausted and I feel like throwing in the towel like ok Jesus please just take the wheel, you’d smile at me, and I know after all this time, I’ve never been happier.

Now I know why 世上只有妈妈好.
